Can My Organization Compete and Win?
by JD Harvill CPC

The recovery is coming, and it will arrive with a pent up demand for products and services.  There will be fierce competition for market share, and the organization prepared with the best strategic plan will surely be the winners!  But only if they have recruited and trained the key employees needed to carry out the plan.

Will your company be one of the winners, or...(more)

ASK THE EMPLOYMENT EXPERTS

Dear Steve and Jon,

The rumor mill has started around my company that lay-offs are coming.  Seems I have three choices:  look for a new job, stay and hope my job holds, or be laid off and collect a severance.  Which is better?

What Constitutes The RIGHT Candidate?
by Jon Harvill CPC

Our job, as executive recruiters, is to find the best candidate for our client company and the best job for the candidate who entrusts us with his or her career.  This is a huge responsibility and we proudly feel we have made a positive impact on hundreds of companies’ growth and a multitude of candidates’ lives over the years.

Dear Colleague:

To Hire or Not To Hire, That is The Question!

Though there are many companies presently clinging to hiring freeze policies (or worse yet still undergoing layoffs), there are a lot of good reasons to begin hiring sooner rather than later...

The most important reason is not the impending turn around in the economy, but the fact that your competitors may beat you to the best candidates if you wait until your fiscal controllers see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Take stock in your present team structures.  Do you have the right people in the positions that will be key to your success when the markets turn?

If you can justify their value now, then a few top quality candidates can be getting acclimated to your methods while you ramp up for the inevitable return of consumer confidence.

Contact us today to compare notes on market trends, to learn our opinions on what roles might be critical for you now and in the near future, and to hear about great candidates that might be willing to come over for the right opportunity!

Continued success,
Jon Harvill CPC
